What’s the difference between Agave Syrup and Agave Concentrate?
Agave Syrup is primarily used as a sweetener whereas our Agave Concentrate was created specifically for distillers to create their own Agave Spirits.
What kinds of applications are Agave Syrup and Agave Inulin used in?
There are a variety of food and beverage applications for each product. Here are just a few, please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
What’s the difference between Agave Spirits and Tequila?
For an Agave Spirit to be called Tequila, it needs to be produced in Jalisco from blue agave at a registered NOM distillery. Any product produced outside of these parameters cannot be considered tequila.
Does The Tierra Group carry a specific Tequila brand?
No, we do not carry any branded retail Tequilas.
Where can I buy a bottle of The Tierra Group’s Tequila?
We do not offer our Tequila products for sale in retail bottles. Please reach out to us if you’re interested in private label bottling services for Tequila or any other spirits.
I want to create a Tequila brand; can The Tierra Group help with this?
Tierra can help with production and packaging; however, we do not handle distribution or back-end logistics.
Who can purchase products from The Tierra Group?
Tierra offers all products strictly B2B. We focus on wholesale ingredients in bulk package sizes. If you’re looking to purchase spirits, additional licenses will be required.
What’s the country of origin for The Tierra Group’s products?
Excluding our agave wine, the country of origin for our product offerings is Mexico. Country of origin for our agave wine is the USA.
Where does The Tierra Group ship to?
We ship directly to the lower 48. For Canada and International shipping, we will provide the paperwork and can deliver the product to the desired port, but we do not directly handle the ocean freight. Spirits shipments must be made to licensed spirits businesses.
Does The Tierra Group provide other ingredient products besides agave?
No, we focus solely on agave ingredients and agave-based spirits.
Can I use a credit card to pay for an order?
Yes, credit cards are accepted. A 3.5% fee is added on any order over $2,000 that is paid with a credit card. We also provide free ACH payment.
Is the purchase process for Tequila different than Agave Spirits?
Yes, in order to purchase bulk or private label tequila and label your product as containing authentic tequila, you must go through a certification setup process with the CRT of Mexico. This is an involved certification process, but one in which Tierra Group offers assistance for the initial setup and approval.
